Fraternity treasurer software that collects dues without the chasing
Bill members, run payment plans and automatic reminders, pay for things, and track every dollar in one place. No per-member fees, and payers cover processing by default.
Used by treasurers at 100+ chapters.
MyGreek is fraternity treasurer software for chapters that want dues to come in on their own. Treasurers bill the roster, set up payment plans, and let automatic reminders do the follow-up, and the money lands in the chapter’s bank account.
What fraternity treasurer software should do
Every platform can send a bill. The differences show up in the parts of the job that take a treasurer’s time: chasing, payment plans, spending, taxes, and handing it all to the next officer. Here is what to look for, and how MyGreek handles each one.
Collect dues without chasing people
Look for reminders that go out on their own, by text and email, until a charge is paid. Members should be able to pay from a link without creating an account, and parents should be able to pay for them.
- Bill dues, rent, fines, formals, and merch, to the whole chapter or to a group like a pledge class.
- Automatic text and email reminders, plus late fees if your chapter uses them.
- Payment links that work without an account, and checkout for parents.
- Send members to collections when a balance goes unpaid.
Handle members who can’t pay all at once
Payment plans are where most chapters lose track of money. The treasurer should set the terms, and the software should collect each installment and follow up on missed ones.
Pay for things and see where the money went
Collecting is half the job. MyGreek also covers the spending side: you can open a chapter bank account with virtual and physical officer debit cards, plus reimbursements and budgets that update as money moves, so you are not rebuilding a spreadsheet at the end of every month.
Keep the books ready for taxes
Most chapters have to file a Form 990 with the IRS every year. Because MyGreek already has the chapter’s income and spending, it can file the 990-N for you, and Plus includes the 990-EZ. See Form 990 filing.
Survive the treasurer handoff
Treasurers usually serve one year. The roster, balances, payment plans, and history should stay in the chapter’s account when a new officer takes over, not in the outgoing treasurer’s spreadsheets.
Cost the chapter nothing per member
Legacy platforms often charge the chapter per member, each semester or month. MyGreek has no per-member fees or contracts on any plan, and DIY is $0 a month. Payers cover processing by default: 4% + 30¢ by card, or 1% by bank transfer (max $25). Plus is $99/month for bigger chapters, and Managed is $999/month if you want us to run the finances for you. See pricing.
Why treasurers pick MyGreek
Easy for a new officer to pick up
New treasurers learn it without a training session, and members pay in a couple of taps.
“MyGreek has been super easy to use. It’s simple to track who’s paid and manage payment plans, and the support has been really responsive. I’ve already recommended it to other chapters.”
Dues come in without chasing
Payment plans and reminders run on their own, so you stop texting brothers one by one.
“Biggest benefit was not having to chase people down. I sent out fewer reminders and automatic payment plans made everything a lot easier compared to doing it on paper.”
No software bill
No per-member fees or contracts on any plan. Payers cover processing by default.
“We save $3,000 a year on software fees which gives us more cash for formal”
Switching from another platform
Many chapters switch between semesters. Check your current contract’s renewal date first, and export your data before access ends.
- Export your roster, open balances, and payment history from your current platform.
- Bring your roster in as a spreadsheet and map the columns on import.
- Get hands-on help bringing open balances over, so every member sees what they still owe.
- Register your chapter on your own, or start with a 20-minute demo. The DIY plan stays free.
