MyGreek vs Billhighway
Billhighway, now re:Members Unified Finance, charges a per-member fee negotiated by your national and runs chapter money through its consolidated banking instead of your own account. On MyGreek, online banking with officer debit cards is built in, so there’s no outside bank account to set up, and there are no per-member fees or contracts on any plan, and payers cover processing at checkout.
Trusted by 100+ chapters. Comparison last updated October 2026.
MyGreek is the Billhighway alternative for chapters that choose their own finance platform: online banking with officer debit cards built in, so you don’t need to set up an account at an outside bank, plus no per-member fees or contracts on any plan and processing covered by payers at checkout.
What is Billhighway (re:Members Unified Finance)?
Billhighway is a financial management platform for fraternities and sororities, often adopted by national headquarters, which roll it out to their chapters. In January 2025 its parent company rebranded as re:Members, and Billhighway became re:Members Unified Finance; billhighway.com now redirects to remembers.com. Its sister product, GreekBill, became re:Members Choice Finance.
Unified Finance vs Choice Finance (GreekBill)
re:Members sells both products and publishes its own comparison. Per that comparison, as of October 2026:
- Only Unified Finance (Billhighway) has consolidated banking, headquarters visibility into chapter finances, in-person payments, and full-service 990 filing by a CPA firm.
- Only Choice Finance (GreekBill) lets chapters bring their own bank account and accept Apple Pay.
re:Members also says chapters can join Choice Finance without approval from headquarters.
Billhighway pricing and fees
re:Members doesn’t publish pricing; each national negotiates its own rates. The most complete public schedule is Phi Delta Theta’s July 2026 guide for its chapters:
- $30 per member per year, billed as $15 per semester (down from $36 under GreekBill, held through 2031)
- Processing on incoming payments: 3% on cards, 1% on ACH, 1% on mailed payments
- Other fees: $9 per prepaid card order, $195 plus $45 a year for the Anywhere card reader, a 5% late fee charged to members ($1 minimum), and $25 to send a member to collections
On the national guides we found, processing comes out of the payment rather than being added for the member. Zeta Tau Alpha tells parents a 3.5% fee “will be deducted from all member payments made via credit or debit card,” and re:Members’ terms say service charges “will not be charged directly to any Member.”
How Billhighway works
Treasurers invoice members on payment schedules, and members pay online, by phone, or by mail with a card, ACH, or check. It also includes:
- Consolidated banking that reduces the need for a local bank account (Phi Delta Theta chapters close theirs), with prepaid officer cards, checks, and bill pay
- Headquarters visibility and real-time rosters synced from your national’s database
- Budgeting, reporting, and document storage for receipts and invoices
- Anywhere, a card reader app for in-person payments and donations
Is Billhighway worth it?
For a national that wants every chapter on one banking and reporting system, Billhighway is built for that job, and many chapters use it because their headquarters requires it. For a chapter choosing its own tool, it means a per-member fee, processing taken out of payments on the national schedules we found, and moving off your own bank account. Here is how it compares with MyGreek.
Why chapters choose MyGreek over Billhighway
Online banking and officer debit cards built in
MyGreek includes an online chapter bank account, FDIC-insured through a partner bank, with officer debit cards, so there’s no outside bank account to open and no officer’s name on a local account. Billhighway also offers built-in banking, but it runs through your national’s consolidated banking with prepaid officer cards ($9 per card order on Phi Delta Theta’s schedule). MyGreek’s account is your chapter’s, and it’s optional if you’d rather keep a bank you already have.
No per-member fee
Billhighway bills a per-member fee that each national negotiates: $30 per member per year, held through 2031, on Phi Delta Theta’s published schedule. MyGreek’s DIY tier is $0 a month, with no per-member fees or contracts on any plan.
Processing covered by payers
re:Members’ terms say service charges aren’t charged directly to members, and Zeta Tau Alpha tells parents a 3.5% card fee is deducted from their payments. Phi Delta Theta’s schedule lists 3% on cards and 1% on ACH. On MyGreek, payers cover processing by default at checkout, so the chapter receives the full amount, or the chapter can choose to absorb it.
Payment plans members can propose
As of October 2026, re:Members’ site and the national guides we found describe installments set by the treasurer, and late fees set by contract: 5% at Phi Delta Theta and 4% at Zeta Tau Alpha, and Acacia’s guide says chapters can’t waive them. On MyGreek, members can propose their own plan when the chapter allows it, approved plans draft automatically, and your chapter sets its own due dates and late fees.
How MyGreek and Billhighway compare
Billhighway is built for headquarters to run every chapter’s money on one system; MyGreek is built for a chapter that picks its own tools. Billhighway details are from re:Members’ website and terms and from national headquarters’ published guides as of October 2026. Rates vary by national.

When Billhighway is the better choice
- Your national requires Unified Finance. Phi Delta Theta, for example, requires it for every chapter and reviews exemptions by June 30 each year.
- You run a national headquarters and want every chapter on one banking, reporting, and roster system you can see into.
- Your chapter wants its banking run by your national’s platform instead of a local account in an officer’s name.
- You collect a lot in person and want a card reader that ties payments and donations to member accounts.
- Your chapter absorbs card fees and collects large card payments: Phi Delta Theta’s 3% card rate is lower than MyGreek’s 4% + 30¢.
Switching from Billhighway to MyGreek
Billhighway usually comes through your national, so start by asking your headquarters whether Unified Finance is required for your chapter. If it is, it’s the better fit. If your chapter can choose, moving over looks like this:
- Plan with your headquarters how chapter funds held in Unified Finance will move to an account your chapter controls.
- Get your roster and open balances out of Unified Finance (ask your headquarters or re:Members for an export), then map the columns on import.
- Get hands-on help bringing open balances over, so every member sees what they still owe.
- Start with a 20-minute demo. The DIY tier stays free.
MyGreek vs Billhighway: common questions
Is Billhighway the same as re:Members Unified Finance?
Yes. In January 2025, Billhighway’s parent company rebranded as re:Members, and Billhighway became re:Members Unified Finance. Billhighway.com now redirects to remembers.com, and some national guides still call it Billhighway.
How much does Billhighway cost?
re:Members doesn’t publish pricing, and each national negotiates its own rates. Phi Delta Theta’s July 2026 guide lists $30 per member per year, 3% processing on cards, 1% on ACH, and a 5% late fee charged to members ($1 minimum). MyGreek’s DIY tier is $0 a month, and payers cover processing by default: 4% + 30¢ by card or 1% by ACH (max $25), so MyGreek’s card rate is higher than Phi Delta Theta’s 3%.
Who pays Billhighway’s processing fees?
On the national guides we found, the fee is deducted from the payment, so the chapter receives less than the member paid. Zeta Tau Alpha tells parents a 3.5% fee is deducted from card payments, and re:Members’ terms say service charges aren’t charged directly to members. On MyGreek, payers cover processing by default at checkout, or the chapter can choose to absorb it.
What’s the difference between Billhighway and GreekBill?
Both are re:Members products. Per re:Members’ own comparison, Unified Finance (Billhighway) adds consolidated banking, headquarters visibility, and full-service 990 filing, while Choice Finance (GreekBill) lets chapters keep their own bank account, accept Apple Pay, and join without headquarters approval.
Our national requires Billhighway. Can we use MyGreek?
Check with your headquarters first. Some nationals, like Phi Delta Theta, require Unified Finance for every chapter, and if yours does, it’s the better fit. If your national lets chapters choose, you can run dues, payment plans, and banking on MyGreek.
Does Billhighway file our 990?
re:Members lists full-service 990 filing by a CPA firm as part of Unified Finance, and Phi Delta Theta chapters file through a Tax Wizard in myPhiDelt. MyGreek’s in-house preparers file 990-N, 990-EZ, and full 990 returns: 990-N filing is included, and on Plus, 990-EZ filing is free and a full 990 is discounted.
Does Billhighway have a mobile app?
As of October 2026, the only Billhighway app we found on the App Store is Anywhere by Billhighway, a card reader app for chapters to take in-person payments and donations. MyGreek has a member app on the App Store, so members can see what they owe and pay from their phones.
